Body: Prosculpt head, hands, and boots. Cloth and mixed media body.

Costume: Hand made distressed velvet pants, silk shirt with embroidered hem, hand sewn leather vest.

Props: Hand sculpted fire lizards with silk fiber wings and fire lizard eggs. Hand made paper "reed" pipes.

Inspired by Anne McCaffrey's Dragonsong series and contributed to a library exhibit in Bethlehem, Connecticut to encourage childhood reading. The exhibit will take place in December of 2006.
Menolly's life at the seahold was hard, particularly because none of her family understands her love of music. When Menolly is forbidden to write and play tunes and injures her hand in a fishing accident, she runs away from everything she knows to try and pursue her music. Sheltering from the deadly falling Thread in a sea-side cave, she discovers several new little friends in a nest of fire lizards who will soon help her find her dreams.
