Frizzle is a house faerie, or perhaps more appropriately a lantern faerie. Once these little flying, human-loving creatures populated the inns and alehouses of Europe and the new world, trimming candle wicks and making sure hearth fires and lantern posts stayed lit for weary travelers. Frizzle's a top notch lantern faerie and takes his post - but very little else - very seriously. He prefers to stay in his own personal lantern because then he can be assured that people will always be able to find their way in the dark. He does occasionally venture out though - after all a faerie needs to stretch his legs too.
