Coming out of a coccoon is tough work! That's why Chrysalis - known to her friends as Chrys - is the official Butterfly Aid Bringer of Faerie. A mischievous trickster at heart, Chrys loves fluttering about to help her new friends gain their wings, easing them out of their coccoons and holding on to them gently until they are strong enough to take flight. Of course, she also loves keeping the tangled silk coccoons to use to tangle up unsuspecting humans who might tread on her butterfly friends. That is, of course, why butterflies are so hard to catch. Today, Chrys stops with her new friend, Sigmund, carrying him in gentle flight after relesaing him from the cocoon at her feet.
